The new Autopac EC 5.46 packing machine
Our Swedish partner – VEBE Teknik AB company – presented a completely new concept of an open top bag packing machine in Düsseldorf.
Autopac EC 5.46 is a new fully automatic bag filler with an emphasis on hygiene and workability, consisting of five modules:

Packaging of the product in open bags is carried out in Autopac 5.46 (Easy Clean) automatic packing machine, product weight is controlled by a built-in weighing device. EC 5.46 is assembled without use of square or rectangular profiles, this means that bacteria cannot linger when they enter the machine.
There are doors behind the machine that provide access to the drives and electrical components. Since the baffle plate separates the electronics and the bag filling process, the user can control and set the engine and electronics without stopping production. The presence of the baffle plate also means that the back side is protected from dust and small particles, as well as water, as the front is cleaned by rinsing.
The work of the packing machine is ensured by one operator. The operator has to carry out cleaning of packing equipment as required, the estimated duration of stops for maintenance is no more than 2:00 per week.
The empty bags feeding magazine has changed. Now the operator stows several packs of bags on a special conveyor, which ensures their constant supply. The new mechanism performs controlled opening of the bag’s top and its transfer on the dispenser clamp. This significantly reduces the likelihood of bag rejection.
The possibility of integration of EC 5.46 with the bags formation unit from a sleeve for ensuring compliance of the equipment with the FFS technology.
The conveyor can be manufactured in two versions:
Each conveyor system is developed on the basis of the technical task of the Customer.
The new abbreviation in the model name – EC, means EasyClean or easy cleaning.
The standard version of the machine involves the use of stainless steel only in the elements that are in contact with the product. However, a fully stainless steel machine can be offered as an option.
However, the choice of option is not limited to versions of implementation, but includes many useful applications, ranging from a bag shaker throughout the filling process and ending with protective fences of the machine.
All packing machines of the Autopac series will now be manufactured in the new variant.
